A Crock of Schmidt

Single-handedly solving nothing

PANIC!

April 14, 2014 by acrockofschmidt Leave a Comment

Edited April 2014 from facsimile transmission dated September 2010

I was on 50 mg/d Prednisone from August 11 through August 27.  Starting August 28, I dropped to 25 mg/d through to today.  Can you please advise me on further dosage reductions to get me off this crap!  Unless you can convey to me that this will kill me, I want off.  This is horrible stuff and it is making my life miserable.

As for objective test results, improvement occurred when I did nothing in the past so it is just as likely a result of my complete inability to do anything the past three weeks as it is the Prednisone that caused the improvement in test results.  So please, tell me how to get off this stuff.  If I am wrong, and I remain ill off the Prednisone, then fine, I will know it was the drug helping.  Only way to know for sure is to go off the drug.  I should never have gone on it.
